A development application (DA) is being prepared to lay the foundation for the new community heart for Runcorn:
- Rezoning the site from industrial to mixed use
- Protecting the heritage sawmill building
- Identifying a range of future uses and activities for the site
- Establishing a structure plan to guide development
This DA does not provide permits for new buildings, but will establish the framework proposed buildings and uses would be assessed against in the future.
